ABOUT US
A little back-story about SOHDA
Somali Humanitarian and Development Action (SOHDA) is a credible,
local non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-sectoral and
non-profit making relief and development organization established in
July 2013.
SOHDA was established by a group of committed and dedicated
philanthropic young men and women with the aim of helping and
improving the living standards of marginalized communities and
vulnerable groups in Somalia in collaboration with national and
international development and humanitarian actors.
In its development and humanitarian work, SOHDA focuses in
collaborating with and building the capacity of the communities we
work with to help them address their social, economic and
developmental challenges. We call this model ‘Creating Local Solutions
to Local Challenges’.
